Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork

Optimize Your Health & Wellbeing

BoulderBodyworks offers a selection of therapeutic massage treatments and restorative forms of bodywork. Some sessions blend various modalities while others work within a single modality to reduce pain, correct posture, inform the nervous system and unlock patterns of holding.

Types of Massage & Bodywork Offered

Massage w/ Advanced Practitoner

Massage w/ Advanced Practitioner is an advanced form of massage therapy that treats soft-tissues of the body, the joints, and the nervous system.

Deep Tissue

An integrative massage modality that uses various techniques such as Swedish massage, Myofascial Release, trigger point therapy and sustained deep pressure to relieve muscle tension in the muscles and fascia.

CranioSacral / Integrative Bodywork

CranioSacral Therapy/Integrated Bodywork combines the gentle but powerful healing touch of craniosacral therapy, energy work and various forms of bodywork to promote health and wellness. Working with the nervous system, the fluid system, muscles and pressure points, this unique treatment can relieve physical patterns of pain, free the body’s flow of energy, improve function, enhance circulation, promote tissue repair and literally help get one’s life unstuck. Restful, restorative, and deeply healing.

Pre + Post Natal Massage

Keep body and mind in good health during pregnancy. Or as a new mother, receive restoration and balance with Post-Natal Massage techniques.

Medical Massage & Manual Therapy

Medical Massage & Manual Therapy is an outcome-based treatment that combines precise massage techniques with additional hands-on modalities. This type of therapy is well suited for nerve impingement syndromes, soft-tissue injury, repetitive strain, postural realignment, surgical rehabilitation, head and neck trauma, migraines, chronic pain, tendinopathies, and other neuromusculoskeletal dysfunctions.

CranioSacral Therapy

Cranial Sacral Therapy (CST) is a relaxing and gentle hands-on therapeutic approach used to release deep tension within the body, reduce pain, and improve dysfunction. This calming holistic modality improves nervous system function, enhances whole-body health and promotes wellness including mental wellbeing. CST acts on bony structures, fluids and fascia which helps influence and activate the immune system.

As the name ‘Craniosacral’ implies, the therapy involves addressing restrictions within the cranium and the sacrum as well as the interconnecting fascia and biodynamic fluids which ultimately serve to connect the whole body.

CST is helpful for treating chronic pain, concussion, traumatic brain injury, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, neck and jaw pain, fibromyalgia and more.

“I wanted to thank you for the support, patience, and cheering you have done for me over the 8 months since my back surgery (Christmas will mark my 9-month anniversary). Your passion and knowledge for what you do have made all the difference. And I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for the gift of health. There is nothing I am more thankful for in this holiday season than my health. You were such a big part of my return to it. May everyone who deals with a recovery like mine have a team of people like you in their court. I feel so fortunate to have been able to work with each and everyone of you.”
